Finally ready for RCIA but wondering if it's too late

Thank you all again for your insight, encouragement, and advice! It means so much to me.

I have some good news to share! I contacted the sister in charge of RCIA at the parish I attend most frequently and explained my situation. She said that I was more than able to join in, and I’ll meet with her tomorrow to receive study materials. Class is cancelled this week due to a retreat, but I’ll be with the others in the group starting next weekend. I feel such a sense of contentment!

[1] Do not sweat not being Baptized as you’re covered for NOW with BAptism of Desire [BUT STILL NEED to be Sacramentally Baptized ASAP [practical

[2]] WITH URGENCY contact the Pastor of the nearest Catholic Church ASAP as the NORM is RCIA from BAck to school to Easter; BUT the Pastor CAN make exceptions, Do NOT DELAY. [I co taught RCIA for 3 years before retiring]
