Hello… are there particular prayers to help with financial decisions? A patron saint?

I have a charity that I work with and I was surprised at how much money I drop in there. Its in dribs and drabs, but it adds up. It is a charity that I enjoy working with so that is why its easy to get pulled up… its my hobby too. Not everything that I do is for the charity, but its about 50/50 at times up to 75/25

My kids are mostly on their own and in a few weeks I have a end of year bonus coming … part of me wants to purchase some small equipment for the charity (which is my hobby as well) and my intellect says I should put all of the bonus on my bills. Then I think well I can do 50/50 bills and the charity.

So I wanted to pray for guidance and wondering if there are financial specific prayers, novenas or saints.

What do you guys have?

St. Nicholas is the patron saint for money worries, and St. Jude is the patron saint for those with monetary needs.

I know you’re not asking for direct advice, but I’d suggest using it to pay off any excess bills, along with any extra money you get. Once those bills are paid off, you’d be amazed at how much more money you have to do the things you enjoy. I have some further advice on how to accomplish this, if you’re interested drop me a PM.

Thank you!

My intellect tells me the same thing… but its just a drudgery

You have an obligation to pay your just debts first. Our Lady of Good Remedy can help adjust your priorities.

Hi anytimequilter,

St. Philomena is another saint that you can pray to regarding financial needs.
