Financial prayers

Hey CAF prayer warriors! My family is in need of some prayer this week. DH just left his job to start his own law firm and while we are very excited (and believe he will be very successful), a lot of things seem to be going wrong right now. I was doing ok with it until today when the a/c quit (I don’t do well with heat, so the prospect of the hottest part of the year w/out it is irritating me right now). It just feels like we’re being punished for venturing out to do this. I know that’s not the case (and feel confident that we spent adequate time figuring out whether this was the direction God wants us to go), but it still feels that way. I am praying for financial relief, if that is God’s will, and peace with whatever happens, good or bad.

Lord, let this family flourish on the path that they are walking, and please grant that minor inconveniences do not lead to larger ones. I pray that they always recognize the bounty of provisions that you have made for them and that they continue in their love and devotion for you.
 
When we set out on a journey from the beach we are buffetted by shoreline waves, but it deeper water, the waves can smooth out.
Jesus please help this family financially and careerwise in their new directions. Please be with them through all the challenges of their new beginning. Thank You, Jesus
