We bought a lot a while back, when we were a two income family, upon which we intended to build. It is a rather pricey lot. In recent years, however, as our priority shifted to bringing children into the world and raising them for God, our income has substantially dropped (just my income now) and our family is growing. We need to move into a house with more room, but we cannot seem to sell our house. The market is bad and one has to travel through a neighborhood with a poor reputation to get to it. The interest on the remaining loan is a monthly burden and the equity that is tied up in it is making it difficult to look for another house. Your prayers would be appreciated that we are able to sell the lot.

Pray, not for us, but for the new owners, that they find the site for their home quickly.

Thank you to all who joined in our efforts. As for ourselves, I told my wife that, as God does not permit any misfortune that doesn’t lead to a greater good, we should not be focusing on prayers to sell our lot, but rather on gaining wisdom as to how we are to grow or benefit spiritually from the struggle.

Through a lot of prayer and reflection, it is becoming clear to me.

Dearest Lord,

Allow this hard time to strengthen this dear man and his family. We know that out of hard times comes a deeper unity and love for you Dear Lord, please allow this time to be short and fruitful.

Many of us have been there or are there, so may wisdom inundate your mind and soul for the Glory of God and the well being of your family. Breathe deep, clear your mind of thought, go through the rosary beads saying thankyous’ and know that God holds you.
