I’m trying to recall a passage in Scripture, maybe I just imagined it and it is not
really there, but I’m remembering something about a king lamenting over some-
thing, perhaps a involving a ruin, rebelling, I can’t remember exactly.

As the king is lamenting, I think I remember God saying something like,
“Now you know what it is to (or ‘what it’s like to’) be God.”
Like God was making a point?

Again, for all I know, I just imagined the whole thing.

I do not recall any passage like that.

But, Job chapter 38 to the end (conversation between God and Job) came to mind for some reason.

Unless you’re thinking of Genesis 3:22:

And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil."
