Hi!
I’m having no luck with finding a suitable life partner.
I’ve tried different church groups, retreats, I’ve been a member of two churches, within the last 2 years.
where else would be a good place to look for a catholic mate?
thanks! 🙂

Prayer to St. Raphael the Archangel for Finding a Good Spouse
St. Raphael, you were sent by God to guide young Tobias in choosing a good and virtuous spouse. Please help me in this important choice which will affect my whole future. You not only directed Tobias in finding a wife, but you also gave him guidelines which should be foremost in every Christian marriage: “Pray together before making important decisions.”
Amen.
Pray to St. Raphael every day and he will come through for you.

If you are going the online route, try Catholicmatch also because they have a much larger pool of online Catholics.

Hi polishprincess, I am sorry you are having trouble meeting a nice Catholic guy. I see that you are from NJ. I’m not sure what part, but there is a large population of Catholics in NJ and in places in Union County and surrounding areas there are plenty of Polish churches as well. Maybe you could meet someone there.

Additionally, get involved with volunteer efforts that would draw in nice people. Leverage your friends, they might know single men that you can meet. Branch out from the existing social circles you are in now.

ATTRACTIVE

SINGLE

MENTALLY STABLE.

Pick two of the three only. 😃

Thank you so much for your helpful advice 😃

Avemariasingles is an overpriced personals ad IMO. There is little “action” on the site and they did away with the forums. It’s been a waste of money as the men seem very passive there. They do sponsor trips which might be more fruitful.

My wife found a very good catch in college.😉
LOL too old for college. I’m in a financial mess with my house at the moment so a relationship isn’t on the table or even something I care about at this point. Funny you should mention the Mentally Stable my last date was not…🤷 He was bipolar.

Well, I would recommend getting involved in activities you enjoy and/or are interested in. Volunteer for church/charity projects where you have talents or skills that you can exercise. Eventually you may stumble onto someone who has similar interests, if not, at least you’re enjoying what you’re doing.

It’s never too old to go back to college. There are lots of non-traditional students------who knows?

Was at least one of his polars o.k.😃

Maybe instead of looking to find a new man, you should re-look at what you’ve found. Do you have any friendships with men that would make great spouses?

He was ok looking but he say a few things that seemed off to me. After a few days he said he had bipolar which makes sense from what I knew of him. Then he disappeared. I already had enough on my plate with my house at the time so in truth it didn’t matter to me.

Catholicmatch worked for my wife. Luckily, she found me, and not some other guy. THAT would have been an awkward post, with her being my wife and all…
