What does FSSP mean?
FSSP stands for the Fraternal Society of Saint Peter. They’re a society of trad-cat priests. Basically the SSPX but in full communion with Rome.

They.(FSSP) are for the Latin Mass but in full communion with the Church.

Stay away from the other one, (SSPX) as it is not in union with the Church !! They are NOT the same. thing. God Bless, Memaw
I’m going to look into this further.

Thanks,
Ed

I wouldn’t dismiss the youth group because they are into service. I understand your concern, and you are probably right in that you would find people who are lukewarm, cafeteria Catholics, etc. But I’m sure you will find those who are truly following Jesus and orthodox. Most groups are like that in my experience. It wouldn’t hurt to go and have a look, meet them, see if you click with anyone. Having one or two friends is better than nothing. Just don’t be negative in advance, because that will put an instant barrier between you and the people.
