Finding other Eastern Catholic's

My family moved way, deep, down into Texas. We would LOVE to find some other Eastern Catholic families, individuals, etc. I heard rumors that there is a Melkite group having liturgies in McAllen, Tx…but haven’t been able to find out if it is true, times, dates, places.

Anyone between Brownsville and Mission Tx ???

The 2 groups we could find - Houston, is over 6hrs away from us, and Irving is 8-9 hours away. A mission ?Maronite? I think? is in Austin, but even that is 5 hours away.

So if anyone knows of some other folks nearby… please let us know An Orthodox parish seemed an option at first, but of course they won’t let us receive communion, so we chose just to attend the Latin Rite masses…

No, we Melkites no longer have a mission in Texas. I cannot locate any Eastern Catholic parishes or missions that are closer to you than Austin (the Ruthenians and Maronites are there).
