need tips on finding a regular confession place with a work hectic schedule. A ton of places have confession right in the middle of the work day.

Try Masstimes.org. And maybe call a nearby parish and see if you can schedule a time to come in and go to confession.

I find the best thing is to just make an appointment. It is easier, and you know that you will have the Priest’s undivided attention.

All priests in my and neighbouring parishes hear confessions before the evening Mass and also after if there is a need for it. Guaranteed before Sunday Mass.

I have even had parish priests notice that I didn’t receive Holy Communion during evening Mass and come and talk with me after Mass had ended. A minute later I was in the confessional. That is how serious they take their responsibility of hearing confessions and making sure I go to heaven.

I’m sorry, but I would find that really intrusive. Do you mean he actually asked you why you hadn’t received? I don’t think I would ever have gone back to that parish again.

They were my parish priests so we knew each other. It was a simple question like “Has something happened? I noticed you didn’t receive Holy Communion today.” I have answered them for example “I came very late.” or that “I need to go to Confession but didn’t have time before Mass started.”.
