Here is a quote From Blaise Pascal that comes to mind often for me.
Code:
"All of the troubles of life come upon us because we refuse to sit quietly for a while each day in our rooms."

After having read this what does it mean for you? I'm simply looking for (name removed by moderator)ut and maybe different perspectives. Thank you.

Yes, quiet prayer time helps us to see the bigger picture, and to remain calm and be more trusting in the Lord.

Removing the clutter form ourhearts and minds. Thinking about things that don’t last or don’t matter at the end of the day, or the end of our lives.
The best way to do that is to unplug (she said…typing on an anonymous forum :o )

😉

Just came back from an hour of Adoration guiet prayer time. Nothing beats clearing the mind & sitting with the Lord.

Contemplative prayer. Thank God we have Carmelites to show us how. 🙂

Thank you all for you wonderful, insightful, offerings. Now is the time for me to “unplug” for a while. Be well-stay safe.
