Finding spiritual direction online

As many of you know, as you grow in faith, one seeks spiritual direction. This is easier said than done. Many times priests are too busy and/or it is simply not their gifting.

Are there any priests orders that are dedicated to spiritual direction?

Are there any priests that would give spiritual direction online due to limitations in geographic locations?

Anyone have personal insights/experiences in this?

I do not think spiritual direction can really be done online.

Is Opus Dei in your area? Or how about any monasteries nearby?

I was told by a priest that local jesuit communities can be full of amazing spiritual directors. An email or phone call might help get you started.

I would also like to find a spiritual director but I find my parish priest rather unapproachable. It is all he can manage to occasionally shake my hand after Mass, being besieged all the time with more long term members of the parish. Perhaps I’ll look more into this or contact a Jesuit order in my city. Thanks.
