Out of curiosity, does the Church consider transexuality (presuming there is no disordered sexual activity such as homosexuality) a sin?
IMO, it’s gravely disordered. The temptation to undergo such a self-transformation should be fought spiritually by the individual involved, to the bitter end. 😦

What if one’s soul and spirit and mind a female? Are you saying the body solely make what one is in totality as a person?

As one human to another it is wrong to fire someone that is capable to doing a good job. Age, sex, national orgion (accent included;) ) or other non-job related reasons.

But, I also feel that some things are forgotten in our modern PC world.

I think we all have a right to know who is standing next to our young sons or daughters (gender speaking) in the bathroom when they use the facilities. I also think we all have a reasonible expection to privacy and safety in public bathrooms and/or dressing rooms at the pool or beach.

If you look like a woman and dress like a woman and use the bathroom with women then I would expect you to be a woman. Same goes for men.

This issue could all be eliminated with single person facilities. But as this is not the case, then the average person IMHO expects others to use the proper facilities for everyons privacy.
May I address the words “modern” and “PC”? Political correctness was not indoctrinated into anyone yet some talk about it as if there was a “Federal Guidelines for Political Correctness for all United States Citizens.” There isn’t.

Addressing the intersexed individual: no one should give you a hard time because of your situation. Speaking to the intolerance issue, I hope you understand that organizations that are billed as Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered are supportive of some things that Catholics understand as disordered and wrong?

Everyone should be entitled to privacy. And right now, people around the world are doing things that I think everyone could agree are wrong and illegal behind closed doors. The problem is that GLBT organizations are pushing a broad agenda that includes legalizing sodomy.

As in the very emotional abortion debate where a woman appeared on TV, yelling at anti-abortion protsters: “Keep your beliefs off my body!” There is a small group of people that wants everyone to accept certain behaviors as OK. That want everyone to say: It’s all good. It’s all OK.

Everyone can, and does, do whatever they want behind closed doors. Now, some people want certain things enshrined into law and regarded as OK.

God bless,
Ed
