Please pray for the Deacon and the two young altar servers who were injured during this terrible accident and for the Immaculate Conception Parish in Knoxville. Here is the story from the Knoxville Diocese’s website:

dioknox.org/home/injured

I was there and witnessed this happen and it was very scary and disheartening. The Holy Spirit came and still gave us a beautiful and hopeful Easter Vigil though, which I am most thankful for.

I would also like to commend the pastor there for his quick action when the young boy altar server caught fire near him. Father helped to smother the flames with his vestments and also suffered burns himself helping to put out the fire. I believe the situation was handled the best that it could have been by those that were present. Please pray.

Our Father who art in Heaven,
hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our Daily Bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Oh, how frightening. I will add them to my prayer intentions.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be;
world without end.

Amen.

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, turn your ear to my prayer. Amen

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of Hell; lead all souls into Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.

Lord Jesus, hear my prayers. Amen

Dear Lord,

Please allow these faithful servants to heal both physically and mentally in a timely manner. Please do not let them suffer as their wounds heal and please allow their scarring (both physically and mentally) to be minimal.

Thank you dear God.

Jesus, Master Physician of all times,
Your Divinity did not require a Ph.D.
Eagerly, You resurrected the dead,
Restoring the health of the sick.
Be it physical or spiritual torment,
None were a great obstacle to You:
For Your loving power is omnipotent.
I ask for Your abounding healing love;
Maintain their bodies and souls vigorous
So they may fulfill their daily functions.
The world will be conquered by You,
All afflictions will be dissipated!
Amen
