Fires in British Columbia

Please pray for the homeowners and families who are in the line of REAL fires all throughout the central and southeast parts of British Columbia in Canada.

Two close friends of mine are being evacuated. Many towns are being evacuated as the fires start to creep closer.

I!m curious, what do you mean by REAL fires? As opposed to…?
 
Praying that all in the line of fire will be safely evacuated and property damage will be as minimal as possible. Praying for the intentions of your two close friends as well.

Prayer To St. Amelia

St. Amelia, you always wanted to be a bride of Christ from a very young age. Your loyalty and fervor towards your desired vocation led you to firmly rebuff Charlemagne’s advances. He was so insistent and you were so unwilling that he ended up breaking your arm when you resisted holding his hand. Your arm was miraculously healed. Since then you have been the patron saint of shoulder and arm injuries, as well as farmers and fisherman. You were able to enter a convent as you dreamed you would, and we’re an exemplary religious the rest of your life. There are many legends surrounding you, but there is no doubt of your sincerity or virtue.

St. Amelia, we ask your prayers as we go through this life of sufferings, struggles, and broken dreams. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on God like you did, so that we may experience His grace and help in all our needs. Amen.

I pray for those fighting the fires in BC, Canada
that they will find favorable winds and weather
and may the blazes be brought under control.

I pray also for those affected or in the line of
harm. May they be properly cared for and prayed
for.

I those fighting wild-fires out west in BC, Canada,
may they be strengthened in their resolve to battle
the blazes which seem unstoppable, pray that they
will realize God is working thru them to prevent
the loss of houses and homes, in Jesus’ Mighty
Name. Amen.

I also pray for those who had to seek refuge from
the fires, may they be able to endure the discomfort
of the shelters/living quarters they have taken shelter
in, may they rest content that every step is taken to
provide for them and their loved ones, our Lord and
Defender. Amen.
