Davies didn’t directly urge people to join SSPX, but I think he led people 90 percent of the way there, and many took the next step.

The debates are kind of dated now. At the time, they did not foresee a situation where so many U S Catholics would have a TLM approved by the diocese within driving distance.

I don’t think the point of the debate is dated. The same issues are still there and worse in some cases.
Priests making jokes, applause during mass,etc.

This last week, our priest pulled out his cell phone during the homily to take a panoramic photo b/c we were all wearing red.
