First Baby/Marriage Question

Mike and Cindy have been married for 7 years, They have no children, because they use artificial birth control. Mike is growing more into his faith, Cindy, while she still believes in God, prefers to sleep in on Sundays and is not interested in going. They have a marriage that really is amazing. They were both married in the catholic church.

Now both 29, both college graduates, Cindy wants children. Mike does not. Mike is terrified of children, and unsure if he ever wants them.

I am Rascalking. They’re my friends. Was anyone in a similar situation? Know of one? Is this marriage dommed to fail over children?
 
No marriage made in a Catholic church is ever doomed. They have the grace of the sacraments to guide them in the right direction. Pray for them. There is always hope.
