First confession and abortion

If someone is getting ready to enter the Church and preparing for their first confession and confesses the sin of abortion, will they still be allowed to join the church and be forgiven or not? This happened right after they turned 18 and their now aprox. 40 years old. I know they are extremely worried about this but I don’t know how to answer.

Yes, this person will be forgiven (there is NO sin that is unforgiveable) and yes they will be able to enter the Church.

I just wanted to second your motion 👍 …that’s why Jesus came…for the sinners, not the righteous…teachccd 🙂
