First confession

I didn’t realize I could confess now. I think I am going to do some further study in this area, speak to my Priest, and get on with it.

Just to be sure, I wasn’t baptized Catholic, is that still OK.

If you know how to make a good Examination of Conscience, and you know how to say your prayers (your Act of Contrition, plus any prayers that the priest will ask you to recite for your Penance) - and assuming you will complete your Sacraments of Initiation within the near future, then there is nothing to stop you.

I agree: however, if you are working with a spiritual director it’s important to listen to their advice - they may have insights into one’s particular circumstance that are not obvious to an outsider.
