First Friday and Saturday Devotions - Reparations

As someone who has come back to the Church within the last year, a friend of mine suggested that I look into the First Friday and Saturday Devotions.

Reading up on the requirements, everything seems straight forward apart from where it says to make reparations.

Could anyone please tell me how to make a reparation, or possibly point me in the right direction to obtain further information?

Reparation is simply praying for forgiveness for the sins of others for the most part.

It can be your own prayers from the heart or via a traditional devotion such as this one…

Offer Mass on First Fridays in reparation to the Sacred Heart for sins against Him, and on First Saturdays offer Mass, Rosary, 15 minute meditation on the mysteries of the Rosary, and Confession in reparation for sins against the Immaculate Heart of Mary. On First Saturday, its the acts of celebrating Mass and doing the requirements with the intention of making reparation b/c you love your Mother; those acts are the reparatory acts desired by the Immaculate Heart.
