First Friday - Aug. 4 - Today!

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

So sorry to be so late with this reminder, but truly the day is not completely spent, there is still time for some perhaps to participate in Holy Mass and Receive Jesus in a Holy Communion of Reparation. If anyone cannot fulfill all the requirements for the indulgences attached to the First Friday Devotion, all can make a Spiritual Communion of Reparation, asking the Lord to come into our hearts spiritually in a special way that we may give him a loving welcome and offer our love to Him in reparation for all the coldness we and/or others have shown Him in the past.

Perhaps we can offer the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary with extra attention and devotion. For more on the First Friday Devotion see HERE

May the Heart of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised adored and loved with grateful affection at every moment, in all the tabernacles of the world, even to the end of time.

Yep, went to the noon mass, then stayed for adoration and a rosary ! We plan to do it every chance we get! Most of the year it’s the only adoration time we have.

Not so much interested in indulgences, but I do feel like I’ve done something positive by going.

I checked the box too. And did 2 hours of Adoration because last month when I went to do Adoration, the chapel in my area which is supposed to open round the clock was unexpectedly locked.
