Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Tomorrow is the First Friday of September and an opportunity for us to draw closer to Him Who has loved us more than we can even imagine! Jesus’ Heart was pierced and how many think of Him with love and gratitude? He revealed to St. Margaret Mary, showing her His Heart, that He loved us and received so little in return, but only “coldness” instead. For more info on this devotion see HERE

Thank you for the reminder. I must confess it completely slipped my mind - I will need to get up early and go to the early Mass as I have another commitment in the evening.

In our parish we have First Friday Mass every month, and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament right afterwards. People have signed up for their hours, and others come if they can. It ends at 4:00 PM
with Benediction.

There is also a shared breakfast buffet served in the hall after the Mass.

Peace,

Dorothy

Dear Tis Bearself, Dorothy and phil,

Thank you all for your love of Our Lord and your desire to offer Him your love and reparation on this First Friday!

Wonderful. Our church is consecrated to the Sacred Heart, so it is always special to me.

Thanks, Bluebright,

For your reply and by God’s Grace may you and your parish honor the Sacred heart, now and forever!

Thank you for the reminder. I was able to keep the First Friday devotion today with Mass and reparation to the Sacred Heart as a result!

Good for you, Reggie! So many times Jesus offers us grace and we seem to have “no room” for Him – like those in Bethlehem.

Reparation is so important for all of us – as one member of the Body Grows we all grow!
