My husband and I attended our first mass this morning and the priest was talking about time and God and how He is ever present and time relatively means nothing to him. So my question is about communion, when you take communion is it as if you’re taking it with everyone for all time? The priest made it sound like Jesus was there each time offering his body and blood since time is not relative. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense. I was raised in a Baptist Church and communion was always more symbolic but if it is in fact Jesus offering everytime and actually being in communion with Him and others that is truly beautiful.

Yes.

For me, this is part of the amazing beauty of Catholicism. We receive the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus, just like the Saints have for 2,000 years.
