Nope-nope-nope-nope. The Church teaches Christ becomes present on the altar as the Priest says the words of the consecration: THIS IS MY BODY⦠and THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD. Itās got nothing to do with the elevation.If there is no bell, as some OF Masses donāt use them, Christ becomes present at the elevation when the priest holds up the host and then the cup.
Eh, Iāve heard enough mumbles and grumbles from those who have to sit behind or in the same pew. I just find it easier to slip out.you are welcome to stay through out the mass
