Mohammed himself kept sex slaves. Indeed it was the wife of a Jew he slew, that he pressed into service, that eventually found the opportunity to poison him (though many deny this historical tidbit re: the poisoning).

A better place for a Christian to look for answers on Islam than a Muslim, might be to a Muslim that was raised a Muslim all his life, and then converted to Christianity. Here is a free book PDF written by a Nigerian former Muslim, now Nigerian Christian evangelist that compares the Quran with the Bible and Islam with Christianity - “Islam Reviewed”. Lots of good stuff in a free and quick primer.

Regarding the source of information you seek let me add that if I wanted to get information about Satan, I do not believe that the best place look for straight answers would be to Satan. Indeed if I were to ask that jealous and angry, yet smooth tongued seducer, fallen angel that was kicked out of heaven, about Christianity for example, I believe I would get an answer that might go something like this:

O you People of the Book, overstep not bounds in your religion, and of God speak only the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, is only an apostle of God, and his Word which he conveyed unto Mary, and a Spirit proceeding from him. Believe therefore in God and his apostles, and say not Three. It will be better for you. God is only one God. Far be it from his glory that he should have a son.

The above are the blasphemous founding verses of the Dome of the Rock.

I wouldn’t look to a Muslim for truth, even if one was well intended to offer what he believed was the truth. Plus most Muslims haven’t read the Quran any more thoroughly than most Christians have read the Bible. In fact the Quran is so terminally repetitive in an apparent effort to add bulk, and so boring as a result, that it’s best defense would seem to be in putting the reader to sleep.

To give you an idea in regard to their prophet, he did marry a woman 15 years his senior and remained monogomonous for 25 years to his credit, but she died 3 years before Mohammed’s flight from Mecca.

Not long before Mohammed was expelled from Mecca an admirer offered his 6-year-old daughter Aisha in marriage to Mohammed, and Mohammed accepted. He did wait 3 years until little Aisha was 9 before consummating the marriage. During the interval that passed, Mohammed added another wife. Then he added wife after wife. Then interestingly it would seem that his god granted Mohammed personal carte blanche:

“Prophet! We “We” means “God”] have made lawful for you the wives to whom you have granted dowries and the slave girls whom God has given you as booty; the daughters of your paternal and maternal uncles and of your paternal and maternal aunts … and any believing woman who gives herself to the Prophet and to whom the Prophet wishes to take in marriage. This priviledge is yours alone, being granted to no other believer … [We grant you this privelage] so that none may blame you … You may … take to your bed any of them you please”. Quran 33:50-51

OK, boys and girls. Here it is again, and I hope this time you are paying attention. Here are the exact words in the Constitution…:mad:

Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:–“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Got it? Affirmation is as good as an Oath. The Bible is nowhere mentioned. Now go do something useful, like pet a cat or dog:thumbsup:
