Unfortunately, a Pew Research Center survey of LGBT people from 2013 found that almost half (48%) said they have no religious affiliation which is much higher than the population at large but not a surprise. Many LGBT people have obviously given up on religion because they don’t feel welcome.

😦 I believe there is a difference between welcoming the sinner and welcoming the sin, the sinner should always be welcomed, but the sin cannot be. Otherwise it’s not a Church of love or mercy, Jesus didn’t come to tell people what they wanted to hear, but rather the truth and it’s the truth that will set us free.

May I ask Thorolfr, have you prayed about this? such as the Our Father, or the Rosary? (If you guys pray the Rosary).
