We had our first RCIA meeting tonight. It has taken me close to 3 years to get here. I come from an anti-Catholic background. I must say, it feels good to be coming home. I’ve gone to mass for almost two years now. It will be nice to fully participate someday.

Warm welcome home Bro! Did RCIA myself last year after a 20 year battle agaist myself and coming from a protestant background amongs others things. Enjoy your journey in the next few weeks, the easter vigil is closer than you think!!! i was very touch by my baptism at last year,s vigil and i am sure you will live beautiful and meaningful moments with the Lord at yours.

cheers!

Amazing!! I am so happy for you brother! Get ready for a fun ride, it doesn’t end with RCIA.

I just signed up tonight as well. I’m currently a Buddhist of 10+ years and interested in Christianity. I start on the 16th.

Congratulations! I went through RCIA last year. It was the best experience of my life. Easter Vigil. Coming into the faith. Bar none. I would not trade that night for anything in the world. I had a meeting with my RCIA team tonight as well. Our classes officially start sunday. I’ll be going back through RCIA again but this time as a member of the team. I’m so excited to be experiencing it from the other side of the table now. God Bless you in your conversion and may the light of Christ always light your way! 👍

I started RCIA some 17 years ago. I can still recall the first time I went to Mass (which was some time before entering RCIA) and how “comfortable” it felt… in the sense that I felt as if I had always been there and just hadn’t been aware.
