I’ve been back at mass for a while now, and have spoken to the priest, and now I should be able to get to reconciliation. Between work and kids, trying to get there has been a little difficult. My parish only has two priests and 4 church’s between daily mass, and other goings on it can get very busy for them. I also appreciate that my priest will go out of his way to see me, as the first mass that he did he saw me and came over to speak to me and welcome me black.
I know that all I have to do is call, but there are other people who need him too. I want to make an effort to get to the prescribed times.
Anyway after all that, I’m heading to reconciliation this morning. I’m a little nervous. I have a tendency to be (I’m not sure what the term is) hard on myself with my opinion on when I have sinned. So I’m working on that. I don’t want to go overboard but I want to be accurate.
So yeah, blabbering on because of my nervousness! Luckily I have my little reconciliation pamphlet that I can take with me.
Wish me luck! (And lots of prayers)
