Does anyone do the First Saturday Devotion to our Lady?

Is it imperative to stick to only the requested 5 Saturdays? I don’t mean the prayers would be invalid if said 6 or 12 Saturdays, but I just wonder if it is mandated for 5, and only 5, Saturdays.
 
After 5 consecutive first Saturday, you can repeat the next 5.
If the first time you do 6, that would be fine too. You don’t have to stop at 5.
