What’s the take home message from this morning’s reading?
I see Jesus labeling the Pharisees/Scribes as hypocrites due to their anger towards drunkards.
I also see the inheritance in the parable as the goodness in the son, which was squandered via sin. I don’t see the inheritance as property. Although, Jesus relays the message in that way.
