Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Concluding the Centennial Year of Mary’s Apparitions at Fatima, I am continuing to be mindful of how little attention has been paid to Mary’s Message to the three little shepherd children in today’s world. How many pray a daily Rosary? How many are mindful of the Devotion to Mary’s Immaculate Heart on First Saturdays?
If you are unaware of this devotion see HERE. The reason for “Five” First Saturdays, was given to Sister Lucia of Fatima:

It seems to me the last two reasons are becoming more and more obvious, and heartbreaking to me. Children especially need to know they are loved by Mary and to love her in return. Our Blessed Lord answered that question when He appeared to Sr. Lucia May 29, 1930. He explained that it was because of five kinds of offenses and blasphemies against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, namely: blasphemies against her Immaculate Conception, against her perpetual virginity, against the divine and spiritual maternity of Mary, blasphemies involving the rejection and dishonoring of her images, and the neglect of implanting in the hearts of children a knowledge and love of this Immaculate Mother.
