That’s so sweet of you! I really appreciate your help! 🙂
One confusing point: WE DIDNT KNEEL! O.O
Hahaha! It was okay though, since it was one less step for me to stress over. 😉

Again, thanks so much for your answers and advice!
Kneeling is nothing to stress over. When everyone kneels I just stay seated but slide up in the pew a little bit.

Jesus is our one mediator. Without Him, Heaven is closed. This does not mean that we cannot or should not mediate/pray for others. I’m sure your church or Bible study group has prayer requests.

Peace,
ZP

are you challenging catholic magesterium or attempting to “quietly sit” @ at a catholic mass as a condition of your employment?

It sounds like a rather serious attempt to remain respectful under the circumstances to me.

My simplistic approach to this, and other “prayer” to saints . . .

“pray” has two different meanings in english, one in addressing the Deity, and the other largely out of use in modern english being a request (“I pray thee, don’t open that door!”).

Simply, do you intend to stop praying to God when in His presence after this life? I expect to continue, and to pray for my children, etc.

Wouldn’t my children ask me to pray on their behalf?
