First Visit with Oncologist Today

I have my first visit and examination with an oncologist today. PET scan is scheduled for Monday.

Please pray that the cancer has not spread. The last time I asked for prayers here on CAF, nobody prayed for me. 😦
 
May our Lord Jesus Christ put his healing hands upon you; and may our Blessed Mother Mary intercede for you and place her mantle over you.
 
I pray for all of the cancer patients who are awaiting test results. Please give them comfort and strength as they await the results. I lift up all of other patients who are having procedures. I pray for Your hand over all of their care and that you will be with the doctors and health professionals whom they are working with. Also, please be with all of their families at this time.

I’m sorry that no one responded to your request for prayers last time. I often read prayer requests and pray for the person’s intentions without posting anything. Is it possible that others do the same? Again, I’m sorry that you were hurt.

Praying that Christ, who is the Ultimate Healer may grant you peace, comfort, and complete healing.

I am praying for you now. I will also add you to my Rosary intentions tonight during my hour before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. I will put you on my list for daily prayers. May God bless you, I pray for your appointment to go well and that the cancer has not spread.
 
Prayers ascending for you. I, too, often pray for people without posting. I have done so, often when I am scrolling through the forums. I am sometimes too rushed to post. My apologies.
 
Update:

Just got back from the doctor, and she thinks there’s a 90% chance this can all be taken care of by surgery alone. 🙂 Early detection truly is the key for a full recovery.

I still have the PET scan on Monday, and that may tell us more.

Thank you so much to all who have prayed and are continuing to pray.

Praying for you

If no one prayed for you last time don’t take it personally and just post again to get your prayer request to the front of the que.

The problem is people keep posting to these really long prayer threads which I think is pointless. Why post more than once in the same thread? You can continue to pray without posting. Some of these threads are really old and may even be obsolete. The problem is it bumps new prayer requests down the que. I have already posted a suggestion to CA to separate new prayer requests from old ones into different groups.
 
Will offer this in my intentions before the Blessed Sacrament tonight.

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Kay Cee. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Kay Cee, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
