God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Kay Cee. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Kay Cee’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Kay Cee, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

I’m glad you had some good news!
 
I am overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of all who have prayed for me.

The PET scan is on Monday, and I will probably find out the results Friday. This is a test to see if the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes. Meanwhile, I am trying to stay optimistic and resign myself to God’s will. 🙂

Just got back from the doctor, and she thinks there’s a 90% chance this can all be taken care of by surgery alone. 🙂 Early detection truly is the key for a full recovery.

I still have the PET scan on Monday, and that may tell us more.

Update:

PET scan was yesterday. I am told we will have results by Friday. Still hoping this can be taken care of by surgery alone.

Thank you so much to everyone for their prayers. Am waiting for the results of the PET scan, which I will probably get either today or tomorrow.
 
Just finished calling my HMO, and guess what? Now they’re not even sure I have cancer at all! 🙂

The doctor wants to do another, most extensive biopsy because she says she can’t completely rule out cancer. I am waiting for an appointment for that.

Meanwhile, I am also waiting for the results of the PET scan, which I should get this morning.

There is no way I can express enough gratitude to those of you here who have prayed for me. 🙂 I am asking for continued prayers that this second biopsy turns out to be benign.
 
Update:

My doctor did a second biopsy but still cannot rule out cancer. So I am being scheduled for surgery anyway.

Surgery will be on Tuesday, June 14. I am hoping this will take care of the problem completely.

Prayers still needed.
