Five Common Fears with Discerning Your Vocation

I’m not sure about number 5 since there are certain sins which would cause trouble for the community.
 
We are taught by our Monks that #5 is pride and ego and not humility
 
If you don’t mind me asking which order are they?

It could be argued that when thinking that you’re not worthy you are making a value judgement which strictly speaking is not yours to make.
From that point of view it would be better to have no view of your own worthiness, better because it doesn’t feed your ego one way or the other.

So yes, @Roseeurekacross, I can see how that may be a better way to think. Especially since we could never be worthy enough! Which means that we should strive to improve endlessly without looking back to see how far up the ladder we have climbed always assuming we haven’t climbed far enough.

Perhaps pride really does lead to a fall.
