We’re having a crowning of Mary ceremony tomorrow. (In honor of a statue in the Parish garden.) I’ve never been to one, but we’re supposed to bring flowers. Does anyone know what’s an appropriate number of flowers to bring? Any kinds of flowers recommended? Any to avoid? In terms of the number of flowers I’d want to be neither too much nor too few compared to everyone else, but I don’t know anyone else going…

If anyone has done this and could suggest, that would be great. Thanks 🙂

Exactly. Give her flowers from your heart, that are genuine. Does your heart feel a tug at a certain rose? Do that! Or a couple sunflowers or lilies? They’re the ones then!

I would advice against very scented flowers even if it is outdoors. Mom buried lilies in the compost even though they were placed at the very end of the garden.

Flowers with a harder stem last longer than those with softer stems.🌺
