Scientists are not at all agreed upon the impact of human behavior upon global warming. Astrophysicists report that all the planets are heating up. There have been news stories recently about Mars’ melting ice caps. I just read a news story about how solar flares are going to cause problems for GPS systems when they peak in 2011. Doesn’t it seem more likely that the sun is heating our earth? I mean, since it’s heating up the other planets I’m not driving SUV’s on?
Incidentally, the environmentalist movement was hijacked by socialists a long long time ago. These people are using scare tactics to move us closer to one world government. It’s easy to see their motives when the first thing they think to do is come up with a way to tax countries for carbon emissions. Al Gore buys his carbon offsets from a company he owns. Forgive my incredulity.
Go on pilgrimages. Yeah, the indulgences are the same if you pray the Stations of the Cross wherever you are, but why would you pass up the opportunity to walk in the land where God made man walked? The poster who compared this to Judas’ thinking was dead on.
