Following Confirmation..a thank you letter?

Following an adult confirmation, is it a good thing to write a thank you letter to

the Bishop?

I did not write a letter to the Bishop before confirmation as I have seen

online examples of.

So I am wondering if it would be a good thing to do following?

I think that is a good idea, and I am sure that the Bishop would be pleased to receive such a note thanking him. 🙂
 
Thank you notes are always a good idea! (At least that’s what my mother taught me)
 
I have never heard of this but it seems like a nice thing to do. People don’t do hand written thank you letters almost ever anymore.
