For a 22-year-old who may become guardian of a 15-year-old

Hello all,

PLEASE pray for my friend M. Her aunt is terminally ill with cancer and has asked her to take on guardianship of her daughter, a.k.a. M’s cousin, who is 15. M is only 22 herself, and this cousin has been heading down the wrong path since her mother’s illness (I think we all know what that means, for the most part). M doesn’t know what to do…She doesn’t want to say no to her dying aunt, and she thinks she could be a good “mom figure” for this cousin, but she’s also worried that if her cousin becomes pregnant or something like that (which is probable based on her present behaviors), she will be “stuck” raising both a 15-year-old AND a baby.

M also deals with lots of physical/health problems. Please pray for her. Thank you all and God bless.
 
St Augustine and St Monica, you knew the pain that can be caused when a family members does not follow Christ. Please beg God for great graces for all the members of this family, that they may be able to bear whatever burdens fall upon them, that they will be led, at last, to true happiness with Jesus. Anne
 
WOW! I can’t imagine what the 22 year old “M” must be feeling. I prayed for M and Ms cousin and her cousinfs mother. I know that i’d be so confused.:signofcross:

Dear LuxDei…I will keep M in prayer and that theHoly Spirit will guide her re this child and may He alleviate her feelings of inadequacy and anxiety. I can well understand her fears - may God grant her good health and Peace. Keeping her in daily prayer.
