A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.

Offering up prayers for this family, may the Lord be with them and bless them.

Jesus who was denied justice,
please grant justice and support to a family who are suffering because of others untruths and offences, and because of a lack of support from their community.

Please allow Your Holy Spirit to convey truth that shines overwhelmingly clear,
despite public opinion and before the accusations of others,
however convincing or supported by false evidence, so that good people can live in peace and freedom.

Grant healing to those whose lives and health and finances have been damaged by false witness and the attacks of others. give them healing and new hope in a wholesome new beginning for their family.

Thank You God of love, truth and justice.

So much has happened that could break this family, and their faith, and yet they continue to hope in You as much as they can.
I praise You for their faithfulness.
Please give them a wholesome new beginning for their lives and their faith.
Thank You, Jesus

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Prayer for the Help of the Holy Spirit
O God, send forth your Holy Spirit into my heart that I may perceive, into my mind that I may remember, and into my soul that I may meditate. Inspire me to speak with piety, holiness, tenderness and mercy. Teach, guide and direct my thoughts and senses from beginning to end. May your grace ever help and correct me, and may I be strengthened now with wisdom from on high, for the sake of your infinite mercy. Amen.

Father in heaven,
You have made us for yourself;
Our hearts are restless until they rest in you.
Fulfill this longing through Jesus the bread of life,
So that we may witness to him
Who alone satisfies the hungers of the human family.
By the power of your Spirit
Lead us to the heavenly table
Where we may feast on the vision of your glory
For ever and ever. Amen. :crossrc:

Eternal Lord, whose kingdom knows only the sword of righteousness and justice, and where your only power is love, send forth your spirit to this family as we join together as children of one Father, for yours alone is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

O God,
Open our eyes that we may see the needs of others;
Open our ears that we may hear their cries;
Open our hearts that we may feel their anguish and their joy.
Let us not be afraid to defend the oppressed, the poor, the powerless, because of the anger and might of the powerful.
Show us where love and hope and faith are needed, and use us to bring them to those places.
Open our ears and eyes, our hearts and lives, that we may in these coming days be able to do some work of justice and peace for you. Amen.

Loving God please help our brother to bear the consequences of past poor choices with trust in Your love and goodness, regardless of what happens.
Please ensure that despite his poverty he is given good representation, and his personal difficulties and remorse are taken into account in June. Have mercy on him, loving God, and rehabilitate his life in a hopeful and blessed new beginning.
