For a co-worker who died suddenly today

Please pray for Mike D., who died suddenly this morning of an apparent heart attack. He was 50. He leaves behind a wife and five children. He was employed by our local Diocese and headed up a new evangelization office…he was also very active with youth ministry.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of they womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

May Mike’s soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
 
You must all be in shock, along with his family.

Jesus please flood Your merciful love upon Mike’s family. He served you, and now he can no longer be present to take care of his family. Help them to maintain faith, and to find peace. Please ensure their care and their strength to get through this awful loss of their Dad and husband.

Loving God,

We pray for the repose of the soul of father, husband, and loving servant of yours Mike D. Please guide him and receive him into your Holy and divine presence. We pray for Mike D’s wife and children and ask for your Holy Spirit’s loving embrace and comforting touch for them. We pray the family will have the strength and courage to endure this loss and pull together in love and hope for their future. Please help the family to have the peace and joy of happy memories while helping each other to mourn with a strong faith and love for one another.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.
