For a family that is being torn apart by anger and ego

Please pray for a family, that is dear to my heart. Because of materialism and huge egos, this family has started to hate on each other. It is a horrible mess that no one knows how it really started and the enemy just keeps using one against the other. Some siblings do not speak to each other and no one can pin point a valid reason for it, other than once some started to make more money than others, they started to dislike each other. The mother is very sick, the doctors can not find why she is so sick, and the poor thing is now always angry and depressed. Two of her children do not even talk to her, reguardless that the woman is sooo sick, they do not care. I have never in my life seen anything like this! This family always served the Lord before, they were so devoted to the Virgin Mary, they worked at retreat houses, they at one time directed the churches’ youth group. I’ve even known them to leave the mother alone at the house, even as sick as she is, after them having arguements about nothing really valid, other than their egos getting in the way. There is no humility, no respect for one another, no mercy, no charity. It is the battle of the egos and the rage of anger. My heart is so hurt, because I love this family sooo much, this was the catholic family that their friends looked up to and went to them for counseling. I fear that these people loose their souls and each other as a family. No one wants to return to church, no one wants to be the humble one and make a change, no one is willing to speak to the priest to get guidance. Never had I seen the enemy take over a catholic family in this way.
Please help me pray for this family, because if I (a human) hurt so much for these people, I can’t even imagine how the Lord is suffering for them.

Lord Father I pray at your Holy Feet, that you send an army of angels to defend this catholic family. Rescue them from the lies of the evil, they can not do it alone, they are loosing the battle. Father please come to their rescue, send your most powerful angels to save them. For your glory, for your Sacred Heart and for the salvation of their souls and the innocent grandchildren, that are caught up in the middle of this mess.

Thank all of you, for your supportive prayers. You are all like shining diamonds in the middle of darkness. If you all would of seen this family years ago, you could not believe the sad state they are in now. But our Lord is merciful…

I will keep them in prayers. I understand for my dh’s family is almost like this and I am not use to it. They were never religious though. Forgiveness is the key, but who will be the first to offer it or ask for it. I will pray for them and for you who cares.
