For a family who lost their son last night

Please pray for a family in my town who lost one of their children last night to a drug overdose.

Please pray that they be comforted in their sorrow.
 
Praying for the family and the repose of the soul of their son.
 
Lord of all mercy, I lift up to You the soul of the departed loved one whom you created from all time. I ask that you graciously console their loved ones, so that increased faith may result from this occurrence which remains beyond our understanding. May it further your Divine plan for us, O Lord. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, who lives and reins with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.
 
Praying for the family and that the Lord will comfort and console them in their grief.

Gentle and Merciful Lord,

Eternal light, rest and peace grant unto him. Though his sins may be as scarlet, let his soul be white as snow. May he be counted among Your elect, to share the Vision of Your Glory forever.

Divine Physician, please lay Your Healing Hand upon this suffering family. Fill them with the peace and joy of Your Presence. May they draw strength from You, may they find solace in You.

Through the glorious intercession of Blessed Mary, ever virgin.

I’m sooo sorry to hear this,why satan steals our children’s lives and souls.May GOD,now rest his soul,IN JESUS NAME I PRAY,and may this family find comfort,in the mercy of THE MOST HOLY ONE.My son is drug addicted,so I can just imagine,as I have, what they are feeling ,loosing a son to the evil one.GOD help these poor souls.I pray that JESUS knows this young man’s heart and he will soon be joining in the joy of everlasting life.:gopray2: :heaven:

A terrible time for the family! May The Lord shower his Mercy on the departed and bring comfort and consolation to all grieving family and friends…

O Most Merciful Jesus, lover of souls, I pray Thee, by the agony of Thy most Sacred Heart, and by the sorrows of Thine Immaculate Mother, to wash in Thy Most Precious Blood the sinners of the whole world who are now in their agony and who will die today.
Heart of Jesus, once in agony, have mercy on the dying!

Since I have a brother with drug addiction, let us also pray:

We ask you Father to look on those who are tormented in their minds and hearts to bring healing and hope into their lives via some person you have designated to help. They need a hand they will take toward a better life. They need to be stripped of the demons that wrestle over their souls. We ask forgiveness to be brought into all hearts on all sides of each of these individuals along with comfort. Each of these souls guardian angels, please do not give up hope as we do not. Heaven rejoices in each soul that returns. We ask for increased hope in these situations because hope seems to run out too soon.

Amen.
