For a friend trying to conceive

I have a dear friend who is no longer Catholic who this week (tomorrow I think) plans to artificially conceive in a way I understand does not include the conjugal act. I shared with her the Catholic teaching, but she plans to go forward. I just ask that she be lead into doing God’s will, whatever He may have in mind for her and her husband.

Dear Lord, may Your will be done in this difficult situation.
 
Lord, may this woman come to see the light of truth regarding this matter, and may You comfort her. Your will be done, always and in all things. Amen.
 
I will be praying for this couple. The desire to have children is so strong for so many people. It is hard for those of us with children to completely understand.

**St. Gerard, powerful intercessor before God and Wonder-worker of our day, I call upon you and seek your aid. You, who on earth always fulfilled God’s design, help this couple to do the Holy Will of God. Beseech the Master of Life, from Whom all paternity proceeds, to render this woman fruitful in offspring, that she may raise up children to GOD in this life and heirs to the Kingdom of His glory in the world to come. Thanks for praying all. Apparently this is just in a preliminary stage starting last night…I’m not sure when they do the fertilization part, but I guess it takes a few weeks of observation and such. I’m no expert on the matter, but prayers always welcome throughout these next weeks.
 
Will be praying for your friend that The Lord will always enlighten her to His Will and the Joyful Peace it is and grant to her the desire and fortitude to follow His Will…
 
Thanks for all the prayers, warriors. The friend seems not able to conceive, and has pretty much given up…and I am sure she is feeling empty. I know it is most little girls’ dream to raise a family and she cannot. Any additional prayers for her and her cross are appreciated.

I am praying for your friend. “You” need to let her know that she can raise a family and have children of “her own”, but it may just not be the way she expects. (And I know you probably didn’t mean what you said the way it came out, but you need to be a “positive” friend).

Father, You are the Truth, and You showed me the light when there was only darkness in my life, I beg You Father to please light the way for this child of Yours. Guide her with Your light to the child she longs for. In the name of Your son Jesus I pray with all confidence. Amen.
