For a friend who committed suicide

I’ve had a suicide in my family. I’ve had those thoughts. It’s a tough thing to live with, and someone committing suicide probably isn’t thinking straight. May your friend rest in peace, and prayers for you and your friend’s family, too.
 
May he have reached Perfect Contrition
for his mortal sins before passing, may
he have loved God and neighbor. And
may he NOT have denied God’s Coven-
anting, Eternal and Infinite love at the
end. May he have rejected the promises
of the world, the flesh and the devil.

God grant him eternal rest, may perpetual
light shine upon him, and may his soul, by
the mercy of God, Rest In Peace.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
