About two years ago, her mother commited suicide, and one year later her father died of a stroke. She’d been living with her grandmother, and sometimes last school year she got pregnant, she had the baby a couple of days ago…a lot of people are judging her, but I must admit that I admire her for not getting an abortion when I think a lot of girls in her situation would have(She was a gorgeous, a Varsity cheerleader, and really popular, but she kept the baby and is taking online classes this academic year and obviously she can’t cheer, she’s hoping she can return her senior year though)
Her baby’s father also isn’t the best…he’s stuck around so far but there are rumors he’s been talking to his ex a lot who has a well earned reputation of being promiscuous…
I just think she is a really courageous girl who needs our prayers!

Lord, lead this girl close to you, in darkness and light. May all involved share Your grace and love always. Mary, pray with us. Amen. :harp:

In our tribulation we fly to Thee, O blessed Joseph;
and, after imploring the help of thy most holy Spouse,
we ask also with confidence for thy patronage.
By the affection which united thee to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God,
and the paternal love with which thou didst embrace the Child Jesus,
we beseech thee to look kindly upon the inheritance
which Jesus Christ acquired by His precious Blood,
and by thy powerful aid to help us in our needs.
Protect, most careful Guardian of the Holy Family,
the chosen people of Jesus Christ.
Keep us, most loving father,
from all pestilence of error and corruption.
Be mindful of us, most powerful protector,
from thy place in heaven,
in this warfare with the powers of darkness:
and, as thou didst snatch the Child Jesus from danger of death,
so now defend the holy Church of God
from the snares of the enemy and from all adversity.
Guard each one of us by thy perpetual patronage,
so that, sustained by thine example and help,
we may live in holiness,
die a holy death,
and obtain the everlasting happiness of heaven.

Amen.

Mother Mary, please intercede for your daughter and help her to have deep faith, sure hope and perfect charity. May bringing up her baby help her to know and love Our Lord more. Please shower down graces upon her and protect her under your mantle of love and purity. May she know she did the right thing by keeping her baby. May she seek God through prayer and be drawn to ever so close to him. Amen.

Hold her and her baby close, Lord, protect and bless them always.
She has faced tragedies early in her life.
Please lead her and her baby forward with peace and dignity, with love and protection, and with deep faith. Embrace them in Your light and love and a life direction that is truly pleasing to you.
Bless her grandmother who has provided protection and support for her orphaned granddaughter and her child.
Thank You, Lord

Remembering this girl and her newborn in my daily prayers. God bless!

God bless her and her child and God bless you for being such a good caring friend. She does indeed have great courage!

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done, on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee
blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary mother of God pray for us
sinners now and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end Amen

I pray that she will continue to persevere and do what is right. May God grant her the strength and the graces she needs to provide for the needs of her baby and support herself. I pray that she is always surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones who can be a constant source of support and strength for her. I likewise pray that her baby grows up healthy and loving. Amen.
