Please, pray for us. The Huaycoloro river has overflowed and a big part of Lima is flooded. There’s lots of water and in the streets and they have damaged many people’s houses. As a result of this, a water cut has been announced. Lima had been quickly recovering before this tragedy. Meanwhile, in the north of the country, in a city named Piura, the rain has been disastrous, flooding it.
There’s been many people who have suffered serious consequences as the result of the disaster.

“Be not afraid!” Our Lord Who parted the river, calmed the winds and the seas, and healed the sick does not change and He is with you. Please know that many of us at CAF had already been praying for the People of Peru since October 11, 2016, at this prayer thread here. Our Lord is in eternity → our yesterday is His today. He is Our Loving Father, and may and can do any-thing at all. I just prayed the below specially for you and my brothers and sisters (hermanos) in Peru.

Prayer for Protection from Storms

Heavenly Father,
We are now suffering from floods, mudslides, and having storms. Like You did not know it!
Please send Your Heavenly Angels to invade our home and area to protect us, [Your people of Peru in Ica, Lima, and those places needing Your protection] {name the persons or change as needed}; our home, gardens, vehicles, farms, and everything You know needs Your protection.

Please remember our loved ones and aid them. Please, Lord.

Once the storm is over, Lord, please leave some of Your Angels at our home so that they may help Our Guardian Angels in keeping our home and us safe from all harm.

Yes, I admit it Lord, that when the wind picks up or it gets bad,
I might start telling them “Help!” although I do know Your Angels know what to do.
It is just that I am cowardly, Lord, and of little faith.

Please give me more faith so that I may not be as scared and believe that You,
Who calmed the seas and the winds,
are the very same Lord Whose commands were followed when You walked the earth.
