For a pregmant mom with preeclampsia

Lots of praying to do today! I just had a call from a friend whose 35 yr. old daughter - finally expecting her first child after years of trying - is suffering from preeclampsia. They will likely have to do a c-section tonight, at 25 1/2 weeks. Please pray for Christina and her baby.
 
I have Mass in near to an hour, and will pray for Christina and her baby’s well-being at Mass. Lord, please be with them both. Surround them and theri family with Your light and love!

We lift up the intentions tonight for this dear mother to be and her child. Please bless them, have mercy on them, and send them good health in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Please grant wisdom, compassion, and competence to all the medical providers and doctors who tend to mother and baby. Please also provide strength, courage, and comfort through the Holy Spirit to mother, baby, and all family and friends who care for them. Lord, your son Jesus loves the little children of the world and we hope and pray that this little one will be a true blessing throughout life to his/her family and all God’s people. Lord, please hear the persistent prayers of your people on behalf of this intention.

My daughter in law had the same problem at age 35 and delivered a healthy son who is now almost nine years old and is a beautiful child loaded with energy. I pray for the same good results for Christina.
