For a Religious Brother (UPDATE)

I posted a thread a few weeks ago about a dear Brother who was leaving for Villanova for medical care and to be close to family. I recalled his impact on my own life and on the Parish that he served for over a decade, and also to request your prayers.

Brother John has died. I ask, now, that you pray for the repose of his soul and the souls of all our faithfully departed. He had a large devotion to Saint Rita of Cascia and Our Lady of Consolation.

May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, Rest in peace.
 
Praying for Brother John, his family, and all of the faithfully departed.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I am very sorry for your loss, Bl. Pope Pius IX. May Our Lord give you His peace. Amen.

Prayers for his soul. I know how hard it is to loose a respected man of faith you look up to.
