I’m going on a Carmelite retreat Friday through Sunday, Sept 5-7, and would appreciate your prayers for…
…safe travels; the retreat center is 65 miles away from my home
…an open mind that I may receive whatever the Lord has for me at the retreat
…an open heart that I may be loving and charitable towards the others on retreat with me
…that I may make a good Confession during the retreat

Thank you. I will keep you in my prayers, as well.

Prayers said for your intentions and also have a wonderful time!~
Mary.

Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen. :signofcross:

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen. :signofcross:

You have my prayers.

“Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song.”
“I plead with you! Never, ever give up on hope, never doubt, never tire, and never become discouraged. Be not afraid.”
“If He asks much of you, it is because He knows you can give much.”

Sounds wonderful. I missed all my retreat opportunities over the summer…now that school has begun, it’s harder. As someone said, may you be abundantly blessed! :signofcross:

May He truly bless you and speak to your heart as you make this retreat. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Prayer for a Retreat

Lord Jesus Christ, you told the apostles to retire to a desert place and rest a while. I am taking this time to follow your example. Grant that I may obtain all the fruits that I can from this retreat. Enable me to make it in union with you, to know myself better and to get closer to you. Help me to listen attentively, to ponder prayerfully, and to speak wisely. Let me emerge from this spiritual renewal as a more committed Christian, better equipped to advance along the path that you have laid out for me. Amen.

Praying for this time of solitude that the blessings of our Lord will be with you and all who attend this holy retreat.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and Blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
Now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
