I ask that God will open windows for me. So far, all I get is closed doors.

I wish to return to college, but in a city where someone I know and am trying to pursue in holy matrimony lives as well as one with a plethora of reverent Catholic churches, including one of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter, of which I am a canonical member (my beloved is also at the very least a member of the parish, if not the ordinariate). My parents do not approve of the city due to its dangers, which to be fair, are well known.

Kindly ask that the King will comfort my family’s fears, that I will be granted safety during my time there, and that I will have sufficient funds to support myself while there, and additionally that my time at the university will not be wasted.

Or that the Lord will take away my desire to be with this woman, and that He will show me a path forward both in marriage as well as careerwise, one that I will accept with gladness, as opposed to one to which I am thoroughly opposed.
